LeadsOn is a new, innovative product by KontaktCenter GmbH: the B2B business specializes in the generation of valuable leads with double or triple opt-ins, whereby the company is able to connect companies with their dream clients.

Platform Conception:

Timely And Content-Related Planning

As a first step, our team defined the main goal of the project: developing a platform employing agile methods. We mainly focused on a user-friendly and structured design, as well as regular consultations with our client.

Project schedule: our team was responsible for the entire project management, and thus the definition and allocation of tasks based on available capacities. Their precise definition facilitated the estimation of the service’s scope and the organization of a time schedule. Hereby we were able to plan the handover of work packages and the project schedule right at the beginning, as well as the deadline and project completion. The project schedule was characterized by an agile process model that, contrary to traditional project management, focuses on flexible feedback and dynamic structures. On the basis of this method, we enquired our client about their feedback after every design alteration and the implementation of every single development phase. Thanks to this procedure, we are able to achieve results that 100% satisfy our clients’ needs in every detail.

Idea generation & design: On the basis of former meetings, our designers developed a thorough style guide that included potential color palettes, fonts, buttons, several logo versions and many more website elements. Since we were tasked with the creation of the entire platform and website ‘end-to-end’, the style guide enabled us to ensure a homogenous aesthetic and design of the website. In order to define the contentual and functional features of the platform, we compiled a document in close collaboration with our client that explained any and all ‘business requirements’. The latter presented the online platform’s minimalistic style – the website ought to have a clear structure, a fresh and modern look, and a high usability.

Functions: with the professional Figma program we created the design for the leads’ selection: the goal was to embed numerous criteria that enabled the end customer to define the required leads as precisely and user-friendly as possible. Thanks to many filter options the B2B software offers, clients can segment leads by their gender, age, location and many other filter choices.

The data pool is only filled with those leads that are prequalified for the end customer’s sales and distribution. After this step, we focused on an efficient programming of the website’s design and database. The main prerequisite was the conjunction of the database we created from scratch with the website, in order to enable customers to select their preferred leads. In a second step, we integrated a payment system that would be as intuitive and customer-friendly as possible. Ditto for the leads’ delivery process – customers are now able to download them in their profiles to their Excel program as soon as the buying process is completed. Once delivered, the new database now allows to add information like the leads’ recipients and their date of delivery.

Challenges: Lead generation is a product that requires a lot of information. Nevertheless, the premise for building this website was a puristic, clean layout.

The biggest challenge was – if feasible and sensible – the reduction of the content whilst at the same time ensuring a high information density. The website’s performance and loading time also benefitted from this precondition. Organizing the database was yet another challenge we faced. However, by determining sensible selection criteria and by correctly allocating the leads, we were able to create a clearly-structured system.
